I met Munch and Kumar in Oakland, California, while they were out training near Lake Merritt. The two young men are amateur boxers (Kumar started training at age 3 and Munch at age 6), and with the help of their fathers, that also act as their coaches, they are advancing in the amateur ranks, traveling countrywide to different events in order to progress in the sport, with the hope of turning pro one day.
